Here is our intro to landscape design:
The landscape design process is the first and most important step in creating an environment that meets or exceeds your needs or wants. Imagine a professionally designed landscape that can provide you with an extension of your home, or even an outdoor sanctuary for the corporate headquarters. The landscape is no longer strictly aesthetic, but more of a fully functional living space with outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and sound systems; all immersed in lush plant material.
The results of your vision for your outdoor living space come about through careful consideration of your needs and your ideas and are manifested through a professional landscape design process that creates a unified plan of your outdoor landscape and space.
With Pacifica, the landscape design process is concise and effective. All of our plans are drawn using a combination of the latest in CAD technology, and conventional drafting techniques. This process makes for highly accurate and cost effective landscape drawings, without sacrificing creativity. Revisions are also a snap, with no erasing, just a few clicks of the mouse.
Also by using CAD software, the landscape plans we produce are far more accurate, and the presentations are superior to plans produced strictly by hand. All landscape plans can be produced in full colour, providing you with a very aesthetic, and representative visual for what the finished landscape project will look like when completed.
Walking through Pacifica’s step by step landscape design process will ensure you get it right the first time, saving hours of frustration, maintenance, and sometimes the cost of redoing a poorly planned project. All of our work meets or exceeds the guidelines set out by the British Columbia Landscape and Nursery Association.
Allow Pacifica to take you from landscape design concept to reality, ensuring your finished project distinguishes itself through our innovative and creative design process.
“When we decided to put a pool into our South Surrey garden we had a significant design challenge in the partially-terraced, steeply-sloped site. The genius of Michael Bjorge took our ‘wants and needs’ from an initial meeting/site visit and turned them into a concept design, and ultimately an amazing retreat. Wow! It is no surprise that Michael’s talent has been rewarded with multiple awards.” – Charles & Jill, March 2010 Surrey BC.
“Faced with a challenging re-landscaping project in our South Surrey backyard, Michael’s inspired ideas and a full colour drawing enabled us to appreciate what our yard might look like. His plans resulted in a remarkable garden with year round interest and beauty. Michael, is a pleasure to work with.” – Patrick & Carol C. Surrey BC.
