With the clients having lived in the home for 20 plus years and raising their two, now adult boys, the home had a lot of great memories attached to it. So when they were opting to love it or list it, they decided to continue to love it! But in order to stay it was now time to make the backyard a real retreat, so the boys 20 year old play set had to go.

As we began discussing design ideas and reviewing the initial concept plan, I could see the clients were very excited and passionate about their project, and as a designer, this is always something that inspires the best in your design abilities as well as continues to energize you throughout the design and implementation phases of the project. The completed project has exceeded my strict expectations and now having had one season to grow in, it has matured into a truly private oasis. It shocks many visitors once they step into the backyard, not expecting to see such a dramatic transformation!

The clients have been an absolute pleasure to work for, and I consider them great friends after having worked and collaborated with them over the duration of this very detailed project.
